Founders, Greater Faith International Fellowship
Bishop Gary and Lady Nina Barren are visionary leaders, pastors, educators, and founders of Greater Faith International Fellowship. Through their commitment to biblical teaching, leadership development, and church advancement, they have dedicated their ministry to equipping pastors, church leaders, and believers for effective service in the Kingdom of God.
Their passion for educational excellence and church development led to the establishment of the Greater Faith Institute of Biblical Studies, a training center designed to strengthen ministry leaders through sound biblical instruction, practical leadership training, and spiritual formation. The Institute provides comprehensive programs that focus on biblical and theological foundations, leadership development, church growth strategies, pastoral care, counseling, and organizational effectiveness.
At the Greater Faith Institute of Biblical Studies, students are equipped with the knowledge, character, and ministry skills necessary to impact their churches, communities, and the world. The Institute welcomes individuals who desire to deepen their understanding of God's Word, grow spiritually, and develop the leadership capacity needed to fulfill their divine calling.
Under the leadership of Bishop Gary and Lady Nina Barren, Greater Faith International Fellowship continues to inspire, educate, and empower believers to serve with excellence, integrity, and a commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God.
CLASS BEGINS MONDAY, JULY 6, 2026, 7-9PM (CT)
Phases 1 & 2 – Foundations and Christ-Centered Formation
Begin your theological journey by building a strong foundation in Scripture and developing a deeper understanding of God's redemptive plan. Through engaging studies in Bible Fundamentals, General Bible, the African Presence in the Bible, and the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, you will strengthen your biblical knowledge while cultivating personal spiritual growth. These phases are designed to help you know God's Word, grow in your faith, and establish a Christ-centered lifestyle that prepares you for greater ministry and leadership opportunities.
Phases 3 & 4 – Interpretation, Doctrine, and Apostolic Insight
Move beyond foundational learning into the rich world of biblical interpretation, theological understanding, and faith defense. As you explore Hermeneutics, Systematic Theology, Apologetics, the Life of Paul, and the Book of Revelation, you will gain the tools needed to accurately interpret Scripture, confidently articulate your beliefs, and appreciate God's unfolding plan throughout history. These phases challenge students to think critically, minister effectively, and embrace the hope found in Christ's ultimate victory.
Phases 5 & 6 – Leadership, Ministry, and Life Application
Put your learning into practice as you develop essential ministry skills and leadership competencies. Through Evangelism, Teacher Training, and the Capstone Life Experience Project, you will learn how to effectively communicate the Gospel, disciple others, and reflect on your personal ministry journey. These final phases bring together everything you have learned, empowering you to serve with confidence, lead with purpose, and make a lasting Kingdom impact wherever God calls you.
